Emily Ryan - Associate Director
Emily Ryan is a sustainability strategist and engineer with experience spanning water utility operations, international climate consulting, and commercial supply chain advisory. She combines technical rigour with strategic and commercial acumen to help organisations navigate complex regulatory environments, manage climate-related risk, and turn sustainability commitments into practical outcomes.
She has worked across government, infrastructure, FMCG, agri-food and industrial sectors, advising on climate risk, water strategy, disclosure readiness and operational improvement. Her experience includes leading CSRD, GRI and TCFD-aligned assessments, delivering water stewardship and efficiency studies, and supporting major infrastructure and utility planning initiatives in Australia and internationally.
In her role as Associate Director at Sphere, Emily works with clients to navigate complex challenges, bringing together technical depth, strategic thinking and commercial acumen to deliver practical outcomes
